**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance companies (both electronically and manually).
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims and initiate appeals as necessary.
- Ensure billing accuracy based on CPT, denials, and RCM guidelines.
- Handle patient billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with medical coders, insurance companies, and healthcare providers for seamless processing.
- Update billing software with insurance and demographic information.
- Generate reports on billing activity, denials, and payment status.
