Risk Management: Managing risk is crucial in equity trading. Equity dealers must use risk management strategies to protect clients' investments and minimize potential losses.

Compliance and Regulations: Equity dealers must adhere to financial regulations and compliance procedures while executing trades and managing client accounts. This involves ensuring proper documentation, maintaining confidentiality, and following ethical guidelines.
