**Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role**
- Solid knowledge and 5 years design and implementation experience across cloud computing, edge computing, data architecture, digital product development, sensor data integration, streaming data processing and analytics architecture development and systems development.
- Able to assist in the development and modernization of our software products. You must be proficient with microservices architecture.
- A thorough understanding of cloud-native architectures, container orchestration, microservices and operational best practices in the cloud
- Collaborate among development teams, product Managers, operations teams and security teams.
- Stays up to date with CNCF projects at various stages.
- Experience in infrastructure automation through DevSecOps in Cloud environments and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Terraform, Ansible.
- Knowledge of Azure / Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Keep the organization abreast of new technology and trends relative to IoT, Cloud, Big Data, Analytics, and AI. Evaluate new products with key stakeholders to determine potential trade-offs.
- Experience with VPC networking, cloud security, load-balancers in Azure/Aws cloud, multi-cloud, hybrid cloud and on-premise/edge locations
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, experienced on cloud CLI, bash, python scripting.
- In-depth experience architecting complex Azure public/private Cloud platform solutions (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS).
- Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure deployments in enterprise-wide environments required.
