**Ensure proper housekeeping of laboratory.Job Description**:
The Lab technician is responsible for: Performing sample analysis of all samples received in the lab ,for the tests requested for ,as per SOPs. Supporting laboratory operations, performing maintenance functions, and completing non-technical routine laboratory tests and procedures under the direction of the laboratory supervisor at the visa medical center

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Sample collection (Phlebotomy) Sample analysis as per standard operative procedures (SOPs) Maintain TAT for lab reports Run QC samples on each day of analysis
- Analyze EQAS samples and submit results within stipulated timelines Ensure proper recording and identification of samples.
- Ensure accurate transcription of manual/automated results in LIS Ensure equipment maintenance as per schedule
- Proper monitoring of testing equipment by running control/calibrators/test as applicable, for ensuring accuracy
- Upkeep of machines & equipment and their calibration whenever needed.
- Inspection and inventory management of the received material and reagents.
- Ensure proper storage of all material as per manufacturer’s recommendations
- Ensure proper disposal of waste as per BMW guidelines
- Record of equipment preventive/breakdown maintenance and service report.
- Implementation of corrective and preventive action. Follow the instruction of supervisor and management
- Ensure proper housekeeping of laboratory
- Inform the concerned in case of delay in report.
- Keep records safely and present the records when required.
- Assist supervisors for smooth functioning of the laboratory
- Any other work related to laboratory, as instructed by the Supervisor/Technical manager / Lab director.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
