Data and Compliance Professional

**Description**:
Purpose:
The Data, Design, and Compliance SME is responsible for supporting the Business System Architecture team in managing regulatory data, system processes, functional designs, and tools to ensure regulatory compliance. This includes Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), ERC implementation, Templating, and Document management. Maintains and manages processes for data compliance and efficiencies within the Product Compliance space by collaborating with the Technical Partner and Lead, as well as the Business System Architecture process owners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the implementation of continuous improvement of world class, product regulatory compliance data management systems and interfaces, as per existing legislative requirements or in response to changes.
- Provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinate actions, and support the business in troubleshooting process/data issues.
- Monitor CBRC20 for confirmed and planned import SVT volumes.
- Monitor SVT error notifications, communicate to Compliance team, and take corrective actions.
- Set up and maintain SVT relevant specification data for REACH, UK REACH and KKDIK SVT.
- Maintain REACH-like regulation registration information and exemptions.
- Work with Compliance team to ensure actual compliance situation is reflected in SVT system setup.
- Report SVT data for compliance or registration assessments.
- Communicate and resolve SVT related cross workstream issues.
- Compare system SVT to import records on regular basis to ensure that system tracking is working as expected.
- Obtain data and manually calculate SVT for REACH relevant produced substances and imports to Switzerland, on quarterly basis.
- Maintain and manage regulatory compliance checks supporting chemical control laws.
- Partner with 3E Process Owner to perform data quality checks and cleansing with external data management provider.
- Develop technical knowledge to understand and collaborate with internal stakeholders on downstream and external Corteva practices with publishing SDS/Labels.
- Monitor/Assess/Interpret regulatory requirements and make system and process modifications as per the required data compliance needs (LIST_SUB and PURE_SUB).
- Troubleshoot LIST_SUB and PURE_SUB data and advise on potential solutions.
- Engage stakeholders on new regulatory requirements and changes to existing regulatory data.
- Manage LIST_SUB and PURE_SUB data processes excluding those agreed to be managed by stakeholder teams.
- Set requirements for testing and implementation of LIST_SUB and PURE_SUB related solutions.
- Manage OCC Workstations and troubleshoot user software issues.
- Technical capability to implement and update ERC PS content, as needed.
- Define requirements for managing custom regulatory data.
- Assess and interpret regulatory requirements relating to WWI templates (Windows WordProcessor Integration).
- Manage WWI templates for Safety Data Sheets (SDS), cover letters and labels process (excluding Global Label Management).
- Technical capability to create and modify WWI templates.
- Delegate WWI template development tasks as needed.
- Manage Report Generation Variant process.
- Investigate and troubleshoot WWI template issues/requests and advise on potential solutions.
- Set requirements for testing and implementation of WWI template solutions.
- Monitor WWI Servers and troubleshoot server and user software issues.
- Assess and interpret regulatory requirements relating to Expert Rules.
- Manage Expert Rules process
- Technical capability to implement or update Expert Rules, as needed.
- Delegate Expert Rule development tasks, as needed.
- Define requirements for custom Expert Rules.
- Troubleshoot Expert Rules and advise on potential solutions.
- Set requirements for testing and implementation of Expert Rule solutions.
- Monitor Expert Rule Servers and troubleshoot server and user_issues._

**Qualifications**:

- Graduation in chemistry, biology, or related scientific field or Business/IT field or equivalent experience.
- Supply Chain Knowledge and movements within the system.
- Regulatory knowledge of SVT requirements, experience with monitoring a plus.
- Proficient in SAP EHS functionality, data model and table structures
- SERC implementation knowledge (property tree, phrases, regulatory content, DG content, expert rules, SDS templates)
- Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
- Experienced with handling different global stakeholders/clients/customers
- Good understanding and interpretation of chemical regulations and product/substance classification
- Manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently to deliver concrete deliverables in a timely manner.
