Loan Officer

**Client Outreach & Relationship Management**:

- Identify and engage with potential borrowers in the community, often through fieldwork, to explain microfinance products and the benefits of borrowing from the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering personalized financial advice and guidance.
- Conduct interviews and assess the needs of prospective borrowers.
- **Loan Application Processing**:

- Verify the accuracy of information and perform credit checks, if necessary, while considering the unique financial situation of the borrower.
- **Loan Approval and Disbursement**:

- Approve or recommend approval for loans within defined limits and provide reasons for decisions.
- Disburse approved loans to clients and ensure they understand the repayment terms and schedules.
- **Loan Monitoring and Collection**:

- Monitor the loan performance, ensuring borrowers adhere to repayment schedules.
- Provide timely reminders to borrowers about due payments and assist with rescheduling repayment plans if needed.
- Follow up on late payments and collaborate with the collections department if necessary to recover outstanding amounts.
- **Field Visits and Community Engagement**:

- Conduct regular visits to borrowers in their homes or businesses to ensure that loans are being used for their intended purposes and to foster community relationships.
- Offer financial education and resources to borrowers to improve their financial literacy and ability to manage loans effectively.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, loan details, and payment statuses.
- Prepare reports for senior management regarding loan performance, client issues, and community trends.
- Ensure all necessary compliance documentation is completed, especially in adherence to microfinance regulations and guidelines.
- **Risk Management**:

- Assess the risks associated with lending to underserved individuals and small businesses, and take proactive steps to mitigate potential defaults.
- Offer advice and solutions to clients facing difficulties in repaying loans.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
