Key Responsibilities
- **Greeting Patients**: Welcome patients, families, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, setting a positive tone for their experience.
- **Information Provision**: Provide information about hospital services and direct visitors to the appropriate areas within the facility.
- **Appointment Management**: Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments, including handling changes or cancellations as necessary.
- **Data Collection**: Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and personal details to ensure accurate records.
- **Record Maintenance**: Maintain and update patient records in the hospital database, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- **Payment Processing**: Process co-pays and payments accurately, addressing billing inquiries and directing patients to the appropriate departments as needed.
- **Communication Management**: Answer phone calls and manage front desk communications efficiently, including responding to patient inquiries.
- **Reception Area Maintenance**: Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area that reflects the professionalism of the healthcare facility.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with medical staff and departments to streamline patient services, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
