**Job Description Of Staff Nurse**:
1. Provides direct patient care to one patient or a group of patients assigned to her/him during duty shift.
2. Assists in Ward management and supervision.
3.Deliver a quality care to patients.

**Overall Responsibilities**:
1. Admits and discharges the patient.
2. Maintains personal hygiene and comforts of the patient.
3. Attends to the nutritional needs of the patient and feeds helpless patients.
4. Maintains clean and safe environment for the patients.
5. Implements and maintains ward policies and routines.
6. Co-ordinates patient care with various health team members.

7.Evaluate and oversee patients and report to supervisors any changes in condition
8.Maintain and calibrate equipment for patient safety and support
9.Administer medications as prescribed by attending physician
10.Connect intravenous lines to administer medication and extract samples
11.Communicate with parents/guardians the plan of care and scope of treatment
12.Obtain and evaluate test results
13.Consult with physicians and other **nurses** on plan of care, progress and prognosis
14.Provides nutritional assessment & specialized feedings
15.Cares for infants transitioning to extra uterine life
16.Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs
17.Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, such as incubators and ventilators
18.Prepares and administers and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments
19.Monitors vital signs and initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptom, communicates patients condition
20.Assists treating physician during examination, treatment and procedures, which can include life-saving situations Instructs and educates patients family Participates in discharge planning Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
