Argon Welder

Perform **TIG welding** using argon as the shielding gas to join materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals.
- Set up and operate welding machines, ensuring proper parameters (voltage, current, and gas flow).
- Select appropriate filler rods, tungsten electrodes, and settings for each welding project.
- Weld complex components with high precision and attention to detail.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and removing impurities to ensure a strong, high-quality weld.
- Measure and cut materials to exact specifications using hand tools or machines.
- Set up welding equipment, including gas regulators and hoses, ensuring that the equipment functions correctly and safely.
- Inspect completed welds for defects, such as cracks, porosity, or weak seams.
- Ensure that all work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Test the strength and integrity of welds through various methods (e.g., visual inspection, ultrasonic, or X-ray testing).
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, including the proper handling and storage of materials, welding gases, and equipment.
- Wear appropriate protective gear, such as helmets, gloves, and protective clothing.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records of welding projects, including materials used, welding procedures, and testing results.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Work with other team members, including engineers, fabricators, and other welders, to complete projects on time.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
