Transitex is a global logistics operator specialized in door-to-door transport, with an extensive range of offices and a strong network of agents in most of the key world markets. We are seeking to attract a talented **Costumer Service** for the evening shift (2PM to 11PM) to our branch in **New Delhi**, **India**, in order to support our growth strategy.

**Main Duties**:

- Ensure timely and accurate information to manage the deliveries about all the shipments from Portugal to UK ports;
- Receive loading confirmation from the carriers and inform the client;
- Request to carriers’ haulage availability for final delivery in UK;
- Ask the consignee to send a requested date of delivery based on the free days and haulage availability;
- Schedule the delivery with carrier;
- Follow the delivery and communicate and follow-up with customer on the status of their shipments and deliveries;
- If the delivery occurred out of the free days, it is necessary to inform the client, understand who will be charge for the costs (shipper or consignee), create a cost line and invoice the client in our operating system;
- Every time that the consignee changes the final destination for some reason is necessary to contact the salesperson that made the quotation and request the amount of the additional to invoice the client;
- Send weekly spreadsheet to the clients with the resume of their cargo;
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system;
- Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency;
- Track and Trace shipments as required.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in Freight Forwading;
- Understanding of transportation documentation and terms (preferencial);
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results;
- Strong adaptation skills and capacity to work in a fast pace industry;
- Dynamism and problem-solving abilities;
- Fluency in english;
- Computer skills (Excel, systems).
