**Job Summary**:
The **2D Animator** is responsible for creating visually engaging 2D animations for various media, including television, film, video games, advertising, and digital content. They bring characters, backgrounds, and other elements to life using traditional animation techniques or computer-based tools, while ensuring that the animation aligns with the project’s artistic vision and storytelling objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Animation Creation**: Design, develop, and animate 2D characters, backgrounds, objects, and visual effects, ensuring smooth and fluid motion.
- **Storyboard Development**: Work with directors and storyboard artists to translate concepts into animated scenes, ensuring visual continuity and coherence with the story.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with other departments, including design, modeling, and sound teams, to ensure seamless integration of all elements.
- **Asset Management**: Manage and organize animation assets, including character designs, backgrounds, and props, ensuring they are optimized and ready for animation.
- **Motion Design**: Create dynamic motion graphics, transitions, and effects to support the animation and enhance the storytelling experience.
- **Character Design & Expression**: Ensure characters’ expressions, movements, and actions are believable and emotionally engaging, maintaining consistency with their design and personality.
- **Quality Control**: Review and revise animations to meet quality standards and project requirements, ensuring deadlines are met.
- **Feedback Integration**: Incorporate feedback from directors, producers, and other team members to improve and refine animation work.
- **Technology Utilization**: Use industry-standard animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, TVPaint, etc.) to create and deliver high-quality animations.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Proficiency in 2D Animation Software**: Experience with animation programs like Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, After Effects, or similar.
- **Artistic Skills**: Strong understanding of character design, motion, and visual storytelling.
- **Creativity & Attention to Detail**: Ability to create engaging, dynamic, and high-quality animations while paying close attention to detail.
- **Storytelling Ability**: Understanding of visual narrative techniques to create animations that convey a story effectively.
- **Collaboration & Communication**: Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other artists, designers, and directors.
- **Time Management**: Efficient in managing time to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot animation challenges and come up with creative solutions.
- **Knowledge of Animation Principles**: Understanding of the 12 basic principles of animation, such as squash and stretch, anticipation, and timing.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience in creating 2D animations for various platforms (e.g., TV, mobile, games).
- A strong portfolio demonstrating diverse 2D animation work, including character animation, background design, and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with additional tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D software (optional but a plus).
- Previous experience working on collaborative projects or in a production pipeline.

Pay: ₹10,962.86 - ₹40,743.43 per month
