The OT Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during surgical procedures. They are responsible for maintaining a sterile and organized operating environment, preparing equipment and instruments, and assisting the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operation procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Preparation and Maintenance**:

- Prepare the operating room by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure all medical equipment is functional and properly set up for procedures.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment throughout surgical operations.
- **Patient Assistance**:

- Assist in positioning and transferring patients to and from the operating table.
- Support the surgical team in preparing patients for surgery (e.g., draping, skin preparation).
- **Intra-Operative Support**:

- Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons and nurses during the procedure.
- Monitor and manage equipment during surgery, ensuring its optimal function.
- Respond quickly to the needs of the surgical team during operations.
- **Post-Operative Duties**:

- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment after each procedure.
- Dispose of waste materials following infection control protocols.
- Prepare the OT for the next surgery by restocking supplies and setting up the environment.
- **Administrative and Documentation Tasks**:

- Maintain accurate records of equipment, supplies, and surgical procedures.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring and replenishing OT supplies.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Follow all safety protocols and hospital guidelines to minimize risks and infections.
- Adhere to proper waste management and biohazard disposal procedures.

Pay: ₹10,039.48 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus
