**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop basic websites using HTML and WordPress, adhering to requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand goals, target audience, and design preferences.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts, incorporating best practices in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
- Develop responsive websites that adapt seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
- Implement website functionality using HTML and WordPress plugins and themes.
- Customize WordPress themes and templates to match the desired design and functionality.
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools to enhance website features and functionality.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure optimal user experience and online visibility.
- Test websites across different browsers and devices to ensure consistent and error-free display and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues and perform necessary maintenance and updates.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your proficiency in HTML and WordPress.
- Familiarity with WordPress and its ecosystem, including theme customization, plugin integration, and database management.
- Experience in designing and developing basic websites, incorporating UX/UI best practices.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of graphic design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
