Job Summary: The QC Chemist is responsible for performing quality control testing and analysis on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications. The chemist will utilize various analytical techniques and instruments to evaluate the quality, purity, and safety of chemical compounds. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent laboratory skills, and a thorough understanding of chemical analysis methods.

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using appropriate analytical techniques and instruments.

Perform chemical and physical analysis, including wet chemistry techniques, titrations, chromatography (HPLC, GC), spectroscopy (UV-Vis, FTIR), and other relevant methods.

Interpret and analyze test results, comparing them against established specifications and standards.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of test data, ensuring compliance with good laboratory practices (GLP) and regulatory requirements.

Identify and investigate any deviations or out-of-specification results, working closely with the quality team to resolve issues.

Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and quality assurance, to address quality-related concerns and provide technical support.

Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods, as required.

Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes related to quality control and analytical testing.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

**Qualifications**:
**Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field. A master's degree is preferred.**

Proven experience working as a QC Chemist or in a similar role within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.

Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and instruments, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, titrations, and wet chemistry methods.

Familiarity with quality control procedures, laboratory testing standards, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, cGMP).

Proficient in interpreting and analyzing analytical data, with the ability to identify deviations and troubleshoot instrument issues.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a methodical approach to work.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information and collaborate with team members.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong commitment to safety practices and adherence to laboratory protocols.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
