**Job Title**:Guitar Teacher**
**Location**: Swami Haridas Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Tri Nagar

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and conduct guitar classes that align with the institute's curriculum, focusing on technique, theory, and musicality.
- Teach different guitar styles, including classical, acoustic, and electric guitar, as well as improvisation and composition basics.
- Develop individualized lesson plans for students based on their skill level, learning style, and personal goals.
- Prepare students for performances, exams, competitions, and recitals.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment to inspire students.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to organize music events, workshops, and performance opportunities.
- Track and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Stay updated with current teaching methods, trends, and technologies in guitar education.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music or equivalent formal training in guitar (preferred).
- Proven experience as a guitar instructor, with a portfolio of performances or teaching references.
- Proficiency in multiple guitar styles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching and inspiring students.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Ability to teach both group classes and one-on-one sessions.
- Knowledge of digital music software and technology in music education.
- Experience in preparing students for music exams (e.g., Trinity or ABRSM) is a plus.

Pay: ₹9,438.82 - ₹12,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
