Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy for agri-based organic commodities, aligning with the company's overall objectives and sustainability goals
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable organic commodity suppliers based on quality, reliability, price, and sustainability criteria
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and availability of organic commodities.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the production, quality control, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless integration of organic products into our value chain.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, including delivery timelines, quality control, and compliance with organic certification standards
- Stay informed about regulatory requirements related to organic farming and sourcing, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and certifications.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the organic sourcing process, identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation
- Guiding & Monitoring of Own ICS development work by the field teams as per APEDA guidelines
- Handling of External Audits been done by the certification bodies
- Maintaining the ICS documentary records as per APEDA guidelines
- Maintaining the material traceability records by ensuring smooth issuance of TCs for the material sourced and supplied for internal and external requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation related to organic product sourcing, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements
- Ensure proper documentation of related Data and Reports as required by the Business

**Personal profiling**
- 5-6 years of experience in Organic Sourcing/Certification desk in a reputed Organic Company.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of organic farming practices, certification requirements, and sustainability principles.
- Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on market trends and data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of Organic Standards, Certification and Documentation.
- Strong network of Suppliers across geographies for a variety of organic agri products.
- Highly self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent Computer skills.
