**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English language and literature, including grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary.
- Teach literary analysis, encouraging students to think critically about texts and develop their interpretive skills.
- Foster a love for reading and help students appreciate various forms of literature, including poetry, fiction, and drama.
- Develop students’ writing skills through assignments such as essays, creative writing, and reports, providing feedback for improvement.
- Encourage classroom discussions and activities that promote language development, communication skills, and critical thinking.
- Assess students through quizzes, tests, assignments, and participation, offering constructive feedback.
- Use modern teaching techniques, including technology and multimedia tools, to create interactive lessons.
- Organize and participate in school events, including debates, elocutions, and literary competitions.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level (Classes 6-10).
- Strong command of the English language, grammar, and literature.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to develop their English language skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience preparing students for school-level exams and language competitions.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods, including the use of digital tools and technology in the classroom.
- Ability to engage students in literature and foster a love for reading.
