**What you will learn and contribute to**

Are you passionate about solving problems?

We are looking for a senior database administration professional (DBA) who will be managing databases that are at the core of our solutions.

As part of our team, you will:

- Manage the database operations and administrations for customers around the globe.
- Support the implementation of solutions and projects from database perspectives, particularly in the domain of Device Management and Customer Care.
- Master the database technologies involving (not limited to) Oracle database, MariaDB, Cassandra database as well as big data solutions such as Cloudera CDP
- Become expert of the operating systems such as Sun Solaris and Redhat Linux that support our databases
- Also be familiar with the BA Hosting hybrid cloud infrastructure that run both in Nokia data centers as well as in public clouds

Follow all Nokia Information Security policies and guidelines including ISMS (ISO27001 program)

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- 5+ years hands-on command line experience with large/very large OLTP databases in production environments running Oracle/Linux/Solaris
- 5+ years of experience for coding and performance tuning with PLSQL, Unix Shell Scripting, SQL coding

It would be nice if you also had:

- Bachelor+ degree or similar qualifications; Oracle Certification Professional (OCP) by Oracle Corporation desired
- Experience in managing the high availability of databases with replication technologies such as Oracle Golden Gate or MariaDB/MaxScale
- Excellent understanding of managed/hosting operations, especially in the areas of security, monitoring and logging
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, including virtualization, containerization/K8S and public clouds (e.g. AWS)
- Good understanding of the telecommunications market, the solutions, and services it offers, as well as the enabling networking and IT technologies
