**Chemist
- Food Lab/Residue Analysis Lab**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct chemical and instrumental analysis of food products and agricultural commodities for quality parameters, pesticide residues, veterinary drugs, mycotoxins, and other contaminants.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated analytical instruments including **HPLC, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, AAS, UV-Vis**, and related systems.
- Perform sample preparation, extraction, and analysis in accordance with national and international regulatory standards (FSSAI, EU, Codex, APEDA, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with **Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)**, **ISO/IEC 17025**, and standard operating procedures.
- Document and review test results, calibration data, quality control records, and analytical reports with accuracy and integrity.
- Support method development, validation, and troubleshooting for new analytical methods as needed.
- Collaborate with QA/QC and regulatory teams to ensure data integrity and support external audits.
- Maintain laboratory safety standards and participate in internal training and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- **B.Tech / M.Tech** - Food Technology
- **M.Sc** - Chemistry

**Experience Required**:

- **Minimum 3 years** of hands-on experience in a **Food Testing Laboratory** and/or **Residue Analysis Laboratory** within the analytical testing industry.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of food safety standards and residue regulations.
- Proficiency in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques (HPLC, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS).
- Attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
- Familiarity with national/international regulatory frameworks (FSSAI, BIS, CODEX, etc.).
- Strong documentation and analytical reporting skills.
