Job Title: Surface Modeling Engineer

Location: Cherlapally, Hyderabad

Reporting To: R&D Manager

Job Summary:
The **Surface Modeling Engineer** is responsible for creating high-quality surface models for products using advanced CAD software. This role involves developing complex surface geometries for aesthetic and functional components, collaborating with design and engineering teams to bring innovative concepts to life, and ensuring that all surface models meet the required specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and refine complex 3D surface models for product components using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to translate design concepts into accurate 3D models.
- Ensure the surface models meet design intent, manufacturing feasibility, and aesthetic requirements.
- Perform quality checks on surface models to ensure precision and adherence to technical specifications.
- Modify and improve existing surface models as needed based on feedback and design changes.
- Work closely with the prototyping and manufacturing teams to ensure models are ready for production.
- Maintain documentation of surface modeling processes and revisions.
- Stay updated with the latest surface modeling techniques, tools, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in surface modeling and proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of surface modeling techniques, principles, and best practices.
- Knowledge of product development processes, including design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
