**Job Description - PGT Biology**

**Role**

We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced teacher to join our qualified team of educators.

As a teacher, you will be responsible for cultivating the students’ interest in education and development and dedicated involvement in the entire process of learning and development.

Your role will be fundamental in providing knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. Additionally, your responsibilities will include grading assignments, evaluating students’ progress, and planning educational activities.

**Responsibilities**

Typical responsibilities of Teachers include but will not be limited to:

- Develop curriculum to meet developmental goals and instructional activities for classes 8 &
12.
- Prepare lesson materials for Science for classes 8 to 10 and Biology for classes 10 to 12, grade papers, manage the classroom, and evaluate and give feedback to students.
- Exercise open and respectful communication with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school staff.
- Measure the progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
- Manage and plan student-related activities.
- Create and keep records of attendance, accidents, incidents, and other noteworthy events in accordance with licensing guidelines and program policies.
- Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse, etc.
- Attend conferences and workshops in order to advance professional development further.
- Manage student behavior in accordance with outlined guidelines.
- Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus.

**Requirements and Skills**
- CTET/TET/TAT or equivalent exam qualified.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as PGT.
- In-depth knowledge of teaching methods and legal educational procedures.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Essential traits of soft skills ( Teamwork, Problem-solving, Time management, Critical thinking, Decision-making, Organizational, Stress management, Adaptability, Conflict

Management, Creativity, Resourcefulness, Persuasion, and Openness to criticism).
- Basic Computer Skills.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Limbadiya, Gandhinagar - 382330, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
