Prepare structural detail and concept design drawings for various building and construction types to be built predominantly in USA
Hands on experience on Revit Structures software, Revit families and AutoCAD. Able to work on 2D detailing / sections.
Experience of working on a number of sized projects, as the sole CAD/BIM support and as part of a wider CAD/BIM team
Good working knowledge of Revit Structures with ability to use all standard functions within Revit Structures, Parametric Families creation and ability to coach junior staff in its use
Good understanding of the role of consultant engineers and how to support this, Clear understanding of industry standards
Responsible for Revit and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement, Create Revit families in response to project requirements
Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards, automate routines to support standards and productivity
Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced
Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards
Complete design sketches for information in tender documents for small / routine work
Produce work to specified WSP in India CAD standards, suggest revisions to standards as appropriate
Create work sets, work-sharing methodologies in Revit Models, Project delivery responsibility on agreed schedules.
Flag resource concerns in advance to CAD/BIM manager.
Use templates for CAD/BIM work and use CAD/BIM library items to assist design work
Follow QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines on all work, Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project
