**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:1. Lesson Planning & Curriculum Delivery**
- Develop and execute **detailed lesson plans** aligned with the **CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board** curriculum.
- Teach **English literature, language, poetry, drama, and advanced writing skills** to senior students.
- Integrate **modern teaching methodologies**, including debates, discussions, and literary analysis, to enhance student understanding.
- Encourage students to develop **strong analytical, interpretative, and creative writing skills**.
- Use **technology-enhanced teaching methods** such as smart classrooms, digital platforms, and AI-based learning tools.
- Prepare students for **board examinations, entrance exams (CUET, IELTS, SAT, etc.), and competitive tests**.

**2. Student Assessment & Academic Growth**
- Conduct **regular tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects** to evaluate student comprehension.
- Provide **constructive feedback and individualized attention** to support student improvement.
- Maintain **academic performance records and analyze students' progress**.
- Organize **extra classes, remedial sessions, and revision workshops** for students needing additional guidance.

**3. Classroom Management & Student Engagement**
- Create an **interactive and inclusive classroom atmosphere**.
- Foster **student participation, discussions, and independent thinking**.
- Identify students’ learning needs and modify teaching strategies accordingly.
- Promote **a love for literature and effective communication skills** among students.

**4. Co-Curricular & Literary Activities**
- Organize **debates, elocution competitions, drama performances, creative writing sessions, and literary festivals**.
- Encourage student participation in **school magazines, newsletters, and national-level English Olympiads**.
- Guide students in **research, critical analysis, and advanced literature projects**.

**5. Curriculum Development & Subject Enrichment**
- Stay updated with **educational policies, curriculum changes, and board examination guidelines**.
- Introduce **new texts, literary works, and innovative teaching strategies** to enhance student learning.

**6. Collaboration & Professional Development**
- Work collaboratively with **colleagues, school counselors, and administrative staff** to improve academic programs.
- Mentor junior teachers in **pedagogical best practices and classroom management**.

**7. Parent & Community Interaction**
- Conduct **parent-teacher meetings** to discuss student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance to parents on **enhancing their child’s reading, writing, and communication skills**.
- Engage in **outreach programs, student counseling, and academic career guidance**.

**8. Examination & Board Preparation**
- Ensure students are thoroughly prepared for **board exams and external assessments** through structured study plans.
- Guide students in **answer-writing techniques, time management, and board examination patterns**.
- Organize **mock exams, model question paper discussions, and revision strategies**.
