**Job** **Description** **(** **Manager)**:
i) Know and understand the reasons behind the firms policies and procedures.

ii) Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff accountants.

iii) Strong analytical skills

iv) Begin acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty.

v) If assigned primarily to financial statement engagements:
(1) Begin to develop a command of GAAP; cash, tax, or other special purpose frameworks; unique or specialized accounting principles; and financial statement presentations.

(2) Obtain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.

(3) Assume responsibility for efficiently supervising both audit and nonaudit engagements.

(4) Experience/knowledge of CCH engagement

(5) Experience with Risk assessment analysis in planning for audits

vi) Plan, supervise, and complete routine engagements.

vii) Supervise both staff accountants, provide feedback to them, and evaluate their progress.

**Position** **Requirements**:

- Minimum8years of Audit experience
- US Audit Experience (Desirable)
- Experience in following industries (desirable)
- Low-income housing tax credit audits
- Non for profit, including HUD, yellow book audits
- Real estate entities
- Employee benefit plan audits
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CCH Engagement
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Fully or part qualified CPA/ ACCA/ CA (only desirable)
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct
- Ability to train team members
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task
