For websites, the content writer is responsible for creating written content. They produce copy that is engaging, informative, and optimized for search engines. For social media, a content writer is responsible for creating engaging and relevant content for social media platforms. They are responsible for developing and executing a social media content strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals.

**Responsibilities (website)**:

- Create high-quality, SEO-friendly written content for websites, including landing pages, blog posts, product descriptions, and other marketing materials
- Conduct research to develop an understanding of the industry, audience, and competitors
- Develop a content strategy to meet the needs of the business and drive traffic to the website
- Write clear and concise copy that effectively communicates the message to the target audience
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Collaborate with the web development team to ensure content is optimized for search engines and meets the technical requirements of the website
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continually improve the quality of the content

**Responsibilities (social media)**:

- Develop a social media content strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals and brand voice
- Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others
- Write social media posts, captions, and messages that resonate with the target audience and drive engagement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns that support overall marketing objectives
- Research and stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to ensure that the company's social media content remains fresh and relevant
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms
- Analyse social media metrics and use insights to continually improve the effectiveness of the company's social media content

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a content writer or similar role
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of SEO and web content best practices
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Proven experience as a social media content writer or similar role
- Strong understanding of social media best practices and writing for different platforms
- Ability to develop and execute a social media content strategy that aligns with marketing goals
- Knowledge of social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer
- Understanding of social media analytics and ability to use data to improve social media content
- Creative thinking and ability to generate new and innovative ideas for social media content
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and instructions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field

**Salary**: ₹10,341.31 - ₹22,000.00 per month
