**Job Title**: Accounts and Economics Teacher

**Location**:Emerald International School, Nelamangala, Bangalore.

**Position type**:Full Time

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for Accountancy and Economics courses, adhering to the prescribed CBSE or IGCSE curriculum.
- Developing and delivering comprehensive and exam-focused curriculum aligned with the latest ICAI syllabus for all three levels of the CA program (mainly Foundation) is a plus.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, participation, and a strong understanding of financial concepts and economic principles.
- Create and administer formative and summative assessments, including exams, quizzes, and projects.
- Maintain detailed student records and report on academic performance to parents and guardians.
- Track student progress, identify areas needing improvement, and provide individualized support to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Participate in curriculum development initiatives and stay abreast of current trends in Accountancy and Economics education.
- Participate in residential school life, contributing to the overall well-being and development of students beyond the classroom.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Accountancy and Economics. Experience in teaching concepts of CA (all three levels) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the CBSE or IGCSE curriculum.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans. Proven ability to effectively manage a classroom environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

**Application process**:
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

- Bengaluru District, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
