Banking and accounting process basically handles the money movement and deals all the internal banking activities. Accounting & Banking team also sends instructions to the banking team to request the money which the fund company entitled to receive. The Mutual fund accounting specialist is responsible for reconciling the cash part of the trade settlements. 1) EASY/ Trading suspense, 2) Investment Suspense & 3) SDB (Self Directed Brokerage) Suspense in SAP. Take regular follow up with internal partner for variance resolution Completion of research on trade variancesMonitor daily the open items in the assigned suspense accounts. Review bank reports for dividend payments, produce necessary wiring instructions and enter accompanying accounting entries. Compile the data in designated reconciliation template. Provide guidance and communication to various teams, research or open SR tickets, etc. to resolve the variance. Note the findings and expected resolution on the reconciliation. Research and resolve open items in the suspense accounts. Complete accounting entries as needed to clear open items. Completes periodic reports documenting variance root cause and resolution. Verifies problem resolution is timely and accurate. Follows up with appropriate areas regarding unresolved issues. Complete all daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks and reporting accurately Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to SME/ Lead/ Supervisor
