**Job Summary**

**Organization Synopsis**:
Pratham imparts most of its training in industry-specific entry-level skills in sectors that employ a large number of disadvantaged youth - construction (including electrical, welding, and plumbing), hospitality, automotive, healthcare, beauty and wellness, and tailoring. Pratham has trained more than 100,000 youth in different skills over the last few years and currently operates 140 centers (residential and non-residential) across 23 states. This financial year 2018-19, Pratham trains 25,000 youth annually. The Entrepreneurship Program extends assistance in terms of training, mentorship, and raw material support to enterprising individuals. Pratham has so far supported and helped scale more than 40 small businesses in the construction industry & 1,200 women micro-entrepreneurs across Delhi NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra, Bihar, Gujarat, Orissa & Chhattisgarh.

**Project Synopsis**:
In India, the construction area of civil engineering is one of the most hazardous and labor-exploited industries. The Good-Contractor Project would involve incubating a network of ethical micro-contractors in the construction industry within Delhi NCR. We are looking to set up and expand a dedicated team that would support and enable them to scale their businesses, continuously generate employment and also ensure all welfare means are extended to laborers.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Mentorship / motivate to Petty Contractors.
- Delivering Technical Training and Technical support to Petty Contractors.
- Develop a rapport and build trust with the Micro Contractors and other relevant stakeholders.
- Reviewing Tenders, BOQ, and other technical documents along with the Project team.
- Providing need-based support to contractors in creating training presentations and approaches.
- Create and maintain a repository of information/data.
- Conduct surveys/assessments, document the same, and have the ability to analyze the information and suggest improvement measures on the same.

**Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications**:

- Graduates / Diploma in Construction or Allied Trades.
- Proven working experience in Construction sales or business development or construction site engineer or Consultant in the Construction field.
- Up-to-date construction market and technical knowledge.
- Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have good documentation/reporting skills.
- Comfortable with extensive fieldwork and willingness to travel for work purposes now and then.
- Highly proactive to take initiative; act quickly and strategically upon the program trajectory.
