Plant Operator-vegetable Oil Refinery

A oil Refinery Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas refineries, ensuring that plant equipment is maintained and operated within regulatory and company requirements. They monitor and adjust process parameters, and ensure product quality and integrity.
**Refinery Operator Duties**
- Operate, monitor and maintain refinery equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical problems
- Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate records
- Liaise with suppliers and other personnel
**Refinery Operator Requirements**
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of refinery operations and equipment
- Ability to operate and maintain refinery equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot refinery equipment malfunctions
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and hazardous environments
- Ability to read and understand technical documents
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Good communication skills
**Refinery Operator Skills**
- Safely operate and monitor refinery equipment
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks
- Perform safety checks and inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Monitor and adjust system parameters to prevent environmental pollution
- Troubleshoot and rectify process issues
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operation
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
