**Role: Machine Learning Intern**

Location: Mumbai

Type: Full-time Internship (with fast-track to full-time role)

Department: Data Science & Engineering

**What You’ll Own**

This isn’t your typical internship. You’ll get ownership of meaningful projects, work alongside senior product and engineering leaders, and see your work go live.

You’ll be:

- Designing, training, and deploying ML models for tasks like customer segmentation, recommendation engines, risk assessment, and forecasting.
- Owning end-to-end ML workflows: data cleaning, feature engineering, modeling, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborating directly with product managers, engineers, and designers to translate business needs into scalable ML solutions.
- Playing a key role in building the AI backbone of our platform — with real accountability and real outcomes.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (completed or in final semester) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Strong grasp of ML fundamentals — classification, regression, clustering, model evaluation, overfitting/underfitting, etc.
- Hands-on coding skills in Python, with experience in ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.).
- Comfortable working with large datasets, cleaning messy data, and deriving insights.
- Hunger to build, test, iterate — and ship real solutions, not just prototypes.

**Bonus Points If You**:

- Have completed projects involving financial data, recommender systems, or predictive analytics.
- Are familiar with SQL, data pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Have worked with NLP, time-series forecasting, or anomaly detection models.
- Have a strong GitHub/Kaggle portfolio or have participated in hackathons.
