**Profile - Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Production**

Qualification - B.Tech / M.Tech - Mechanical, Chemical, or Production

**Experience -Min. 15+ years of experience in production, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Plastic Recycling / Manufacturing Industry. In-depth knowledge of plastic recycling processes (e.g., shredding, washing, extrusion, pelletizing) is highly desirable**

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

Plan, organize, and control production to ensure efficient and timely output

Oversee daily plant operations, production planning, resource allocation, and shift management

Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards, especially related to plastic recycling

Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement initiatives

Monitor KPIs such as OEE, downtime, yield, production efficiency, etc.

Coordinate with Maintenance, QA/QC, Logistics, and Procurement teams for smooth operations

Implement and monitor 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other operational excellence tools

Train and mentor the production team to improve performance and ensure high morale

Handle statutory compliance, safety audits, and documentation as per regulatory requirements

Work closely with senior management to align production goals with overall business strategy

**SKILLS**

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and manpower management

Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Office, and production tracking tools

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills

Good understanding of sustainability practices, EHS standards, and regulatory compliance
