**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Political Science for secondary (TGT) and senior secondary (PGT) classes.
- Develop and implement curricula that meet educational standards and are aligned with the school's goals and values.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that challenge students and foster critical thinking.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Stay updated with current events and political developments to integrate real-world contexts into teaching.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student development.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Political Science or Master’s degree preferred.
- B.Ed. is mandatory or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Valid teaching certification for PGT levels.
- Proven experience in teaching Political Science at the secondary or senior secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of political science concepts, theories, and current affairs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching and assessment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Ability to incorporate interdisciplinary approaches and contemporary issues into teaching.
- Participation in workshops, seminars, and conferences related to Political Science and education.
