**Position**: Computer Operator

**Job Summary**:
As a Computer Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of computer systems, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted data processing. Your role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the overall functionality and reliability of computer systems.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **System Monitoring**:

- Monitor computer systems and network to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to system alerts and take appropriate action to resolve issues promptly.
- Perform routine checks to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.

2. **Data Processing**:

- Execute and monitor batch processing jobs.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of data according to established schedules.
- Verify input and output data for completeness and accuracy.

3. **Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with technical support teams to address complex problems.
- Escalate issues to higher-level support when necessary.

4. **Routine Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and system updates.
- Update and maintain system documentation.

5. **Security and Compliance**:

- Monitor and enforce security protocols to protect data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Implement and maintain access controls for system users.

6. **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Document and report system issues and resolutions.
- Provide user support and assist with inquiries related to computer systems.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and hardware.
- Proficient in operating system environments (e.g., Windows, Unix/Linux).
- Knowledge of batch processing and job scheduling.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- May require occasional evening or weekend work for system maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
