**Job Title: VMC Operator**

**Job Summary**:
As a VMC Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of vertical machining centers (VMC) to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. Your role involves interpreting technical drawings, programming machines, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of machining processes.

**Responsibilities**:
**Machine Setup and Operation**:
Set up VMC machines based on job requirements, including loading materials, tooling, and programming parameters.

Operate machinery to perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, tapping, and turning.

Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- **1)Programming and Tooling**:_

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to program CNC machines.

Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machining sequences for each job.

Conduct tool changes, adjustments, and offsets as needed during production.
- **2)Quality Control**:_

Perform regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments to verify parts meet specifications and tolerances.

Identify and troubleshoot issues related to machine operation or product quality.
- **3)Maintenance and Safety**:_

Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- **4)Documentation and Reporting**:_

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job setups, tool changes, and quality inspection results.

Provide reports on production output, machine performance, and any issues encountered.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a VMC machine operator, specifically with vertical machining centers.

Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.

Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues.

Attention to detail, precision, and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy materials.

Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Certification or technical degree in VMC machining or a related field.

Familiarity with specific VMC software and machinery models.

Experience with multiple materials (metals, plastics, etc.) and machining processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,718.40 - ₹37,362.24 per month
