Global we connect looking for Monitor and optimize performance of the database, plan for backup and recovery of the database, and allocate system storage and plan future storage needs. Create database-related scripts and programs to support development and production environments. You will be required to install and maintain the database software, create storage structures, set up user accounts, debug malfunctioning programs, create backups, and regularly maintain the database security.

**Key Requirements**:
1. 7+ years Oracle DBA experience on installation, testing, commissioning, trouble shooting on production and development servers.

2. Experience in Azure.

3. The scope of this job is Oracle database administration, which is responsible for the installation, testing, configuration, trouble shooting and maintenance of Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g and 12c technologies.

4. Additionally, resource will assist for disaster recovery (DR) designing, planning, implementation processes.

5. Responsibility lies for configuring, managing, and reporting on all Oracle database Server environments including standalone and Clustered environments.

6. Train and mentor new database administrators on Oracle suite of products (11G, 12C, 18c, 19c) and troubleshooting techniques.

7. Make recommendations to improve performance or capacity of current environments.

8. Expertise on Disaster Recovery, Backup and recovery support.

9. Good experience on Oracle database migration.

10. Proficient in Oracle EE RAC database installation, upgrade, patching, maintenance, security, sysadmin functions and administration

11. Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes, data and menus through the various stages of the development life cycle - Performs database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database

12. Hands on experience with Oracle Grid Control, PL/SQL, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle Active Data Guard, Golden Gate Replication,OEM and other Oracle Products.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Adhering to SLAs - Mentoring / Training Team Members
- Handling tickets / requests - Perform root cause analysis.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration.
- Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA - Understanding of Multi-geo support environment.
- Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment.
- Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario.
- Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction.
- Suggests new technologies and design changes.
- Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members.
- Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support.
- Suggesting patches/upgrades to maintain security level.
- Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time.
- Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating.
- Assist in effort estimating, forecasting, and work planning for resources.
- To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
- To provide support for on call escalations and doing incident & problem management.
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training fresher, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives.
- Familiarity and capability of learning new database technology across tower is an add-on.
- DBA point of contact for database requirements.
- DBA should possess a sound understanding of the business.
- Evaluate the Database Server Hardware.
- Define/Recommend/Maintain Database Standards and Architecture.
- Recommend Server H/W, Oracle Server Editions for a new Build.
