**About the project**:
The Infosys Foundation is supporting The Banyan, over a four-year period, to provide holistic biopsychosocial care services through NALAM, a community mental healthcare model for vulnerable populations with mental illness living in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha with a focus on social determinants of health and SDGs.

**About the Role**:
**Designation**:Research Associate

**Location**:Chennai

**Salary**:INR 30,000/- per month CTC

**Educational qualifications**:Under
- or post-graduate degree in social work/public health

**Period of contract**:4 years

**Expected date of joining** - Immediately

**Eligibilities**:

- Good communication and writing skills
- Tamil and English speaking

**Experience**:0 to 2 years

**Technical skills**:

- Microsoft office (Especially intermediary skills in MS Excel)
- Analytical skills (For e.g., SPSS) added advantage
- Experience in employing various research tools such as surveys, focus group discussions etc.

**Key Responsibilities Assigned**:

- Support The Banyan in the overall monitoring and evaluation process and analysis concerning Chennai.
- Ensure efficient data management, data quality check, data cleaning, follow ups with the program teams against key indicators
- Support database management associated with research projects conducted by The Banyan.
- Coordinate with the on-ground team to collect data periodically and address persisting gaps.
- Systematically generate output indicators related to performance associated with research projects.
- Support the program team in conducting outpatient clinics, research data collection, mental health literacy campaigns, capacity building sessions with peers and other NGOs etc.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
