Health Basix is looking for a School Counselor who can work in a school setting.

Roles and Responsibilities of a School Counselor:
1. Identifying Behavioural, Social and Emotional challenges experienced by the students.

3. Provide insight development sessions, and scientifically based psychotherapeutic techniques to reduce the intensity and frequency of the distress and challenges faced by the client/ student(s)

4. Prepare a plan of action for students who are experiencing emotional and social difficulties, prepare a Behavioral contract/chart for students who are exhibiting maladaptive patterns of behavior and use behavioral strategies including behavioral counseling to shift the behavior that does not impact the students negatively.

5. Identify emotional and behavioral triggers, and teach coping strategies to prevent the students from entrapping themselves into a vicious cycle of self-harm or emotionally unstable experiences.

6. Address the effects and impact of bullying on children, especially to the students from lower grades.

7. Stress management for students who are experiencing academic burnout, unable to balance the pressure between academics and co-curricular activities, peer pressure, changes and disturbances in eating and sleeping changes due to hormonal changes in the body etc.

8. Report any incidents of self-harm including cutting oneself, calling oneself negative names, pondering over suicidal thoughts etc to parents and school management.

10. Identify students who have eating disorders (ex: bulimia, anorexia, emotional binge eating) and work on a habit schedule along with emotional-focused counseling to improve self-esteem and confidence among the students.

**Job Type**: Full time - 6 days a week

Location: Dwarka, New Delhi

Experience: 3- 4 year of experience

Qualifications: M. Sc Psychologist

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
