Student Counsellor in Addition As Soft Skills Trainer

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Student Counselor & Soft Skills Trainer** to support students in their personal, emotional, and academic development, while also providing training to help them build essential soft skills for personal and professional success. This role combines counseling expertise with a focus on equipping students with the interpersonal skills they need to thrive in today's world.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Counseling**:

- Provide one-on-one counseling services to students dealing with personal, academic, and emotional challenges.
- Offer a safe, confidential space for students to discuss personal issues affecting their well-being, including stress, anxiety, relationships, and career-related concerns.
- Help students develop coping strategies and resilience to manage challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to monitor student progress and ensure their mental well-being.
- Organize and facilitate group counseling sessions or workshops on topics like mental health awareness, stress management, and self-esteem.
- Maintain detailed and confidential student records and track progress over time.
- Assist students in setting academic and personal goals and help them explore career options.

**Soft Skills Training**:

- Develop and deliver training programs to help students build critical soft skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management.
- Organize workshops, role-playing activities, and group discussions to enhance students' interpersonal and professional skills.
- Assess students’ soft skills gaps and design personalized learning paths to address individual needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their interpersonal effectiveness and workplace readiness.
- Encourage and promote an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Stay updated on trends and research related to soft skills and integrate new approaches into training sessions.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification or qualification in soft skills training (desirable).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Prior experience in student counseling or similar roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and methods.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to design and facilitate interactive and engaging training sessions.
