**Job Title: Research Associate**
**Location: GIBS Business School, Bengaluru**
**Employment Type: Full-time**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Research Support**:

- Assist professors in designing research studies, formulating hypotheses, and developing research frameworks.
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings for academic papers.

2. **Data Analysis**:

- Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, Excel).
- Clean, manage, and interpret large datasets for research purposes.

3. **Research Paper Writing**:

- Help in drafting, editing, and formatting research papers, reports, and case studies.
- Prepare tables, graphs, and visualizations to present data effectively.
- Ensure adherence to academic writing standards and citation styles (APA, MLA, Harvard, etc.).

4. **Tool & Software Proficiency**:

- Utilize research tools like Qualtrics, NVivo, or other survey/data collection platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest statistical and research methodologies.

5. **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Work with faculty members, PhD scholars, and other researchers on joint projects.
- Attend research meetings and contribute to academic discussions.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, MBA (with research focus), or related fields.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and research methodologies.
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, Python, Excel).
- Familiarity with academic databases (Scopus, Web of Science, JSTOR).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in academic research, data analysis, or assisting in research paper publication is preferred.
- Freshers with strong statistical knowledge may also be considered.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
