**Job description**

**Purpose**: To promote the mental, emotional, and social well-being of students within the school community, provide counselling services, guidance, and support to help students navigate academic, personal, and interpersonal challenges. To collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.

**Responsibilities**:
Toprovide individual and group counselling to students facing academic, personal, or emotional challenges. Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate counselling plans. Offer guidance on coping strategies, stress management, conflict resolution, and decision-making.

Topromote mental health awareness and destigmatize seeking help for mental health issues. Identify and respond to students exhibiting signs of emotional distress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns.

To offer guidance to students on academic planning, course selection, and career exploration.

To assist students in setting personal goals and developing strategies for achieving them.

To advocate for students' needs and rights within the school community.

To communicate with parents and guardians about students' progress, challenges, and recommended interventions. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Conduct workshops or seminars for parents and teachers on topics related to student well-being and development.

Toprovide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, such as incidents of bullying, trauma, or other emergencies. Collaborate with school administrators and appropriate authorities to ensure students' safety and well-being.

To develop and implement preventive programs focused on topics such as stress management, conflict resolution, peer relationships, and substance abuse. Organize events that promote overall wellness and positive mental health within the school.

To maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions and interventions. Prepare reports on student progress, interventions, and recommendations as needed.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Professional certification or licensure as a counsellor or therapist (if applicable).
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or counselling setting.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and counselling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude toward students' concerns.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Strong collaboration skills for working with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.

**Experience**
- +2 years of experience in reputed CBSE school
- Preference given to residents of Gurgaon followed by Delhi/NCR region

**Location**
- MADE EASY SCHOOL, Bandhwari near Sector 58-59, Gurugram, Haryana

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
