Upholstery Supervisor

The Upholstery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the upholstery production process within the manufacturing firm. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Planning & Scheduling**:

- Plan and schedule production activities to meet deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Ensure efficient workflow and material flow within the upholstery department.
- **Team Management**:

- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of upholstery technicians.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job training and guidance.
- Address employee concerns and resolve any team conflicts.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications throughout the upholstery process.
- Conduct regular inspections of work-in-progress and finished products.
- Identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize defects.
- **Material Management**:

- Oversee the inventory and usage of upholstery materials (e.g., fabrics, foams, trims).
- Minimize material waste and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of upholstery equipment and tools.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the upholstery department.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety hazards.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Explore new techniques and technologies to improve upholstery quality and efficiency.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
