We’re looking for a motivated and creative intern to assist in pattern making for our ethnic wear collections.

**Position Overview**:
As a Fashion Design Intern specializing in Pattern Making for Ethnic Wear, you will have the opportunity to work with traditional and modern fabrics, intricate embellishments, and detailed garment construction. You will collaborate closely with our design and production teams to assist in creating patterns for a variety of ethnic styles such as lehengas, kurtas, salwars, and more.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in creating and modifying patterns for ethnic wear designs, ensuring perfect fit and style accuracy.
- Learn and support the draping and drafting of patterns for traditional garments like Kurtas, lehengas, anarkalis, and other ethnic clothing.
- Help with digitizing patterns using pattern-making software (CAD or Adobe Illustrator, if applicable).
- Participate in fittings and help make adjustments to patterns based on feedback.
- Support in fabric and trim selection in line with pattern designs, keeping in mind the uniqueness of ethnic materials like brocades, silks, and embroidery.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining pattern files, samples, and tools.
- Work with the team to ensure patterns align with seasonal trends and cultural themes.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical sheets for production and sample-making.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Interest in ethnic wear and knowledge of traditional garment construction is a plus.
- Basic understanding of pattern-making techniques, fabric properties, and garment fitting.
- Familiarity with pattern-making software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for ethnic fashion and craftsmanship.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the team with a positive attitude.
