**Overview**
- A dance teacher instructs students in dance styles and techniques, and creates lesson plans. They also choreograph routines, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback.

**Responsibilities**

**Teach dance styles**: Instruct students in various dance styles and techniques, from beginner to advanced levels

**Create lesson plans**: Develop dance curriculums and lesson plans for group and private lessons

**Choreograph routines**: Design dance routines for recitals, concerts, and individual performances

**Evaluate student performance**: Assess students' performance and progress, and make recommendations for improvement

**Provide feedback**: Give constructive feedback and provide clear instructions

**Maintain dance skills**: Keep up to date with dance styles and techniques, and implement changes to the curriculum and routines as needed
