Settlement Officer

**Job Title**: Settlement Officer
**Location**: Cygnus Superspeciality Hospital, Kurukshetra

**Reports To**: Billing Manager / Finance Head

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage end-to-end patient discharge billing process.
- Accurately prepare and verify final bills for cash, insurance, and TPA patients.
- Liaise with doctors, nursing staff, and the pharmacy to ensure all services and consumables are billed.
- Coordinate with the insurance/TPA department for approval and timely claim processing.
- Handle patient and family queries related to billing and settlements professionally.
- Ensure that all documentation is complete and complies with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain records of settled accounts and submit daily reports to the Billing Manager.
- Assist in audits and reconciliation of patient accounts when required.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field (B.Com/BBA preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in hospital billing or settlement (experience in a multi-speciality or superspeciality hospital preferred).
- Familiarity with hospital billing software and TPA processes.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

**Work Schedule**:

- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per hospital norms.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
