**Job Overview**:
A statistical programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining statistical programs to analyse and interpret data. They collaborate with statisticians, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient data analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Programming:

- Write, test, and maintain statistical programs using languages such as SAS, R, or Python.
- Develop and implement data processing and analysis scripts to support statistical modeling and reporting.

2. Data Management:

- Collaborate with data management teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Design and implement data validation checks to identify and resolve issues in data sets.

3. Statistical Analysis:

- Assist in the development and implementation of statistical models and algorithms.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and outliers.

4. Documentation:

- Create and maintain documentation for statistical programs, ensuring reproducibility and transparency.
- Prepare and review documentation for regulatory submissions.

5. Quality Control:

- Conduct quality control checks on statistical outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve any issues related to data or programming.

6. Collaboration:

- Work closely with statisticians, data scientists, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on data analysis strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python.
- Knowledge of data management principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, reliable results.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in statistical programming in a relevant industry (pharmaceuticals, healthcare, research, etc.).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for data analysis and reporting.

**Salary**: ₹450,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
