Autocad Plant 3D P&id- Water Treatment Plant

**Position**: SmartPlant PID Process Design Administrator / Designer

**Location**:Aundh, Pune

The Administrator/ Designer will be responsible to support the implementation of the Smart Plant P&ID software in the organisation and carry out drafting of assigned process design work for Water Treatment and Effluent Treatment plants.

To ensure the Process Engineering drawings (P&IDs) are error free with appropriate interface checks. The Process Draftsman will work effectively and collaboratively with the Process Engineers to coordinate effectively and complete engineering requirements within budget and according to schedule.

This position will assist in developing and sustainably growing a world-class business by ensuring that plant designs are efficient, fit-for-purpose, and cost-competitive.

Managing Project Setup and Configuration

Create and Manage Plant Projects: To set and configure the Plant 3D projects, including defining project locations and managing their properties.

Set Up P&ID Templates: To configure the P&ID templates, ensuring that project-specific templates are available for users to create standard drawings.

Define Standards and Symbols: To ensure that standardized symbols, line types, and components are available for consistent P&ID creation. This includes setting up the P&ID symbol library and defining custom symbols if necessary.

Setup Project Database: To configure and manage project databases, including setting up connections to the project database that stores all equipment, piping, instrumentation, and valve data.

Managing Data and Connectivity

Synchronize Data with Other Plant 3D Modules: To ensure that the P&ID drawings are correctly synchronized with the rest of the Plant 3D environment, such as 3D models, Isometrics, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Manage Data Consistency: To ensure the consistency of data between the P&ID and the 3D models, ensuring that when changes are made, it reflects correctly across the entire project.

Handle Data Import/Export: Shall handle the import and export of data between P&ID and external systems or between different Plant 3D projects.

Configuration of Smart P&ID Features

Smart P&ID Tagging: To configure tagging schemes for equipment, piping, and instrumentation based on project or company standards.

Line Numbers and Equipment Numbering: Shall define the line numbers, equipment numbers, and other relevant parameters according to the project-specific requirements.

Define and Maintain Custom Attributes: Shall set up custom attributes for P&ID elements to capture project-specific information.

Managing Reports and Data Extraction

Generate Reports: Will be responsible for configuring and generating various reports, such as BOMs (Bills of Materials), equipment lists, and piping specifications from P&ID data.

Set Up Data Extraction: Shall ensure that data extraction tools are configured properly so that data can be exported for use in other software or systems

Customization

Customizing Templates: Shall customise templates, reports, and drawings to meet the specific needs of the plant or project.

Customizing Valves / Instrument / Equipment Blocks as per required legends and creating tool palettes for the same.

**Experience / Knowledge**

6+ Years’ Experience in the Process Department using SMART P&ID during implementation and use phase.

Experience working with 3D Design Software such as AutoCad, **AutoCAD Plant 3D P&ID**
