**Location : Guru Rajendra Jain International School, Mohankheda Jain Tirth, Rajgarh (Dhar).**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1. Individual Counselling**:

- Conduct confidential individual counselling sessions for students facing academic, personal, social, or emotional difficulties.
- Build trust with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Employ evidence-based counselling techniques to support students in problem-solving, emotional regulation, stress management, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with teachers, academic tutors, and residential staff to develop a comprehensive support plan for individual students.

**2. Group Counselling**:

- Facilitate small group sessions on relevant topics such as social skills development, stress management, study skills, self-esteem building, and coping with anxiety or depression.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for group interaction and peer support.
- Monitor group dynamics and intervene as needed to ensure respectful communication and positive outcomes.

**3. Consultation and Collaboration**:

- Consult with teachers, residential staff, and parents to understand and address students' concerns from a holistic perspective.
- Provide workshops and presentations for staff and students on mental health and well-being topics.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives promoting student mental health and emotional well-being.

**4. Program Development and Evaluation**:

- Assist in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that promote student well-being and resilience.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling programs and services and make recommendations for improvement.

**5. Professional Development**:

- Remain current on best practices in school counselling and adolescent mental health.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities.

**6. Crisis Intervention**:

- Respond effectively to student crises or emergencies, providing immediate support and ensuring appropriate referrals to external resources if necessary.
- Liaise with parents, school staff, and external specialists to coordinate crisis response and follow-up care.

**Qualifications**:

- Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- B. Ed. or equivalent teaching certificate.
- Previous experience of working with adolescents in a school (Preferably boarding school).
- Strong Interpersonal Communication skills.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month

- Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
