**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Career Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct one-on-one interviews with clients to understand their interests, skills, values, and goals.
- Administer and interpret career assessment tests and tools to help clients gain self-awareness regarding their career preferences and strengths.

2. **Career Planning**:

- Assist clients in setting clear and achievable career goals.
- Develop personalized career plans that outline steps and strategies for reaching those goals.
- Help clients explore various career options and industries.

3. **Educational and Occupational Research**:

- Provide information about educational programs, certifications, and training opportunities that align with clients' career goals.
- Research and share knowledge about job market trends, job profiles, and industry-specific information.

4. **Resume Writing and Interview Preparation**:

- Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to improve clients' interview skills.

5. **Job Search and Networking**:

- Teach clients effective job search strategies, including online job boards, networking, and job fairs.
- Help clients build and expand their professional networks.

6. **Personal Development**:

- Assist clients in developing skills such as time management, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Provide support for personal growth and self-confidence.

7. **Crisis Intervention**:

- Offer emotional support and guidance to clients facing job loss, career transitions, or other career-related crises.

8. **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, assessments, and progress.
- Generate reports and maintain confidentiality of client information.

9. **Continuing Education**:

- Stay current with career development trends, labor market information, and counseling techniques through professional development and training.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, education, or a related field. Master's degree may be required for certain positions.
- State licensure or certification as a professional counselor may be necessary, depending on the jurisdiction and the type of counseling performed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of career assessment tools and resources.
- Familiarity with job search strategies and labor market trends.
- Experience in counseling or career advising is beneficial.

**Working Conditions**: Career counselors typically work in office settings, educational institutions, or private counseling firms. They may work with a diverse range of clients, including students, recent graduates, mid-career professionals, and individuals in career transition. The work may involve some evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
