**Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**

**Operational Leadership**: Provide overall strategic direction and leadership to the NBFC business unit, aligning operations with the companys vision, mission, and long-term objectives.

**Compliance & Risk Management**: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to the NBFC business, and keep abreast of industry changes to safeguard the companys interests.
a. Ensure adherence to all critical policies and procedures.
b. Provide advice on and prepare risk and review policies, compliance reports to RBI/NHB.
c. Respond to Ad-hoc enquiries from RBI/NHB with a request for information.
d. Provide financial reporting and accounting for the preparation of quarterly and annual accounts.

**Risk Management**: Implement robust risk management practices to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with NBFC operations.

**Financial Performance**: Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial budgets and targets for the NBFC division, monitor performance against set goals, and take corrective actions when necessary.

**Product Development**: Work closely with the product development team to identify new financial products and services that align with customer needs and market demands.

**Process Optimization**: Continuously review and optimize operational processes, workflows, and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

**Team Management**: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

**Market Intelligence**: Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead in the market.

**Strategic Partnerships**: Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with other financial institutions, vendors, and service providers to expand the reach and offerings of the NBFC business.

**Performance Reporting**: Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and board of directors on the performance of the NBFC division, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and action plans.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- MBA or master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Understanding of financial products for banks & NBFCs, and knowledge of RBI/NHB compliances.
- Leadership ability to drive strategic initiatives within the team and lead the overall P&L responsibility for the business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven and result-oriented approach.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
