**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach music to students from **Grades I to V**, focusing on both Indian and Western musical traditions.
- Conduct **vocal and instrumental music classes**, ensuring active participation.
- Organize and prepare students for **school assemblies, annual functions, cultural programs**, and inter-school competitions.
- Introduce students to **basic music theory, rhythm, pitch, tempo**, and simple notations.
- Encourage creativity through activities like singing, movement, and playing musical instruments (keyboard, tabla, drums, etc.).
- Maintain a vibrant, inclusive classroom atmosphere and adapt lessons to suit diverse learning needs.
- Maintain records of students’ progress and prepare periodic reports.
- Take responsibility for care and maintenance of musical instruments.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field (B.A. Music / B.Mus / M.Mus preferred).
- Certification in music education or a diploma from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
- Prior experience of **1-3 years** in teaching music at the primary school level is preferred.
- Proficiency in **vocal music** (Indian/Western), and knowledge of basic instruments like harmonium, keyboard, tabla, or guitar.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and encouraging creativity.
- Patience and ability to handle young learners with care.
- Confidence in performing and conducting group music sessions.
- Ability to manage and prepare musical programs independently.

**Remuneration**:
As per school norms and experience.
